GGR Communications present Collaborative Technology presentation at the IT Directors Forum

Network specialists GGR Communications were chosen out of 25 suppliers who attended the market leading IT networking event, The IT Directors Forum, presented their case study presentation; “Increasing employee/customer satisfaction and competitive advantage through the deployment of scalable, reliable and collaborative technology.”

With over 25 years of IT and network experience, Richard Williams, Sales Manager at GGR Communications stood in front of the expert audience of IT professionals and delivered the presentation which was based around client case study, Bet Victor.

Bet Victor (previously Victor Chandler) is a large online gaming and sports book operator whose main operating location is in Gibraltar. Previously the business had a legacy Nortel telephone system and contact centre which they wished to replace as a result of the age of the equipment, reliability, functionality and scalability. The presentation therefore addressed the following points in relation to Bet Victors collaboration project:

• How a secure wireless network can increase productivity and employee satisfaction by facilitating non-corporate mobile devices entering the network.
• Why face to face communication is important both internally and externally and how video technology can be used effectively

Richard reports, “The presentation was received will really positive feedback, with many of the delegates asking questions around different collaborative technologies that were part of the project we completed for Bet Victor.
