Groundbreaking Celebration to be Held for Upcoming Home2 Suites by Hilton
Future Hotel to Bring 106 Extended Stay Suites to the Local Area

Home2 Suites by Hilton, a mid-tier hotel of Hilton's (NYSE:HLT) All Suites portfolio, will break ground on its future location in Hagerstown MD. Owned by Bowman 2000 LLC and managed by Bowman Hospitality (a division of the Bowman Group), the new hotel will have 106 suites once completed. The property will have complimentary Internet and breakfast, inviting community spaces and guestrooms will have fully-equipped kitchens.
This will be the fourth hotel in the Bowman portfolio which also includes the Homewood Suites by Hilton, the Holiday Inn Express and Suites and the Ramada Plaza Hotel and Event Center, (all located on The Bowman Hospitality Campus, Railway Center). The addition of the Home2 Suites hotel brings the total rooms on campus to 476 rooms with 208 of these rooms offering Hilton Brand extended stay suites and amenities.
The groundbreaking will be held Tuesday June 12, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. and is presented by the Bowman Group and the Visit Hagerstown & Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). Presenters include: Dan Spedden, CVB President; Jeff Tedrick, President, Bowman Development; Donald Bowman, Owner; and the Honorable Mayor, Bob Bruchey. The new Home2 Suites by Hilton Hagerstown MD will be located at 1661 Pullman Lane in Hagerstown.
