San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) September 25, 2015

Growing Generations co-owner and psychologist Dr. Kim Bergman will deliver two keynote addresses during large surrogacy conference in San Francisco, California.

The conference, presented by international surrogacy advocacy group ?Families Through Surrogacy,? is scheduled for September 26-27, 2015 at the Jewish Community Centre of San Francisco. The two-day conference focuses on the rapidly changing international surrogacy options.

Dr. Kim Bergman is slated to present two keynote addresses at the conference, her third FTS conference appearance this year. The first presentation focuses on what motivates women to become gestational carriers. ?These women want to help someone know the joy of parenthood,? Bergman explained, ?They do not develop a maternal connection to the child they?re carrying and, when properly screened, want nothing more than to hand the child over to the awaiting parents.?

A second address, entitled ?When to Tell,? addresses the common concern of when to share the news of plans to pursue parenthood via surrogacy with others.

Growing Generations? Marketing Specialist Mandy Storer will also travel to San Francisco to attend the conference. Storer, a surrogate herself, will speak on a panel about important issues relating to surrogate matching and relationship building with intended parents.

During the conference Dr. Bergman will be available for private meetings with individuals interested in learning more about surrogacy and whether or not it could be a viable option for their families. To schedule a meeting with Bergman, interested parties are asked to email ericas(at)growinggenerations(dot)com.

FTS conferences aim to provide couples and singles with unbiased information and support when making their family building decisions. These conferences bring together older children through surrogacy, parents, intended parents, surrogates, and surrogacy experts from the U.S., India, and Mexico to learn about best practices and maximizing success in what can otherwise be a stressful journey.
