Haag-Streit Enjoy a Successful AAO 2013

Haag-Streit UK (HS-UK), the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard optometry and ophthalmic equipment, is pleased to report a very successful American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) 2013 conference.

The event showcased the entire Haag-Streit Diagnostics portfolio of products. The stand (number 745) was organised by local distributor, Haag-Streit USA and featured the Octopus family of perimeters. The Octopus 600 was officially launched to a worldwide audience at the event, which generated a lot of interest.

HS-UK attended the event with the Clement Clarke Ophthalmic range of UK-manufactured products. These included; the BA904 portable slit lamp, Perkins Mk3 hand-held tonometer and Tonosafe disposable prisms. Free Tonosafe samples were available for delegates to take away with them, which proved very popular.

Other products highlighted on the stand included; the LENSTAR biometer which boasted recently-launched exciting features, and the BQ900 slit lamp with IM900 imaging module.

The Haag-Streit Surgical team showcased the Allegra 900 microscope, fitted with a beam splitter and dual 3D cameras. The iOCT (the World’s first OCT system to be integrated into a microscope) was also displayed on the Hi-R NEO 900A microscope.
