New whiteboard animated video created by Heredia Designs, LLC inspires millennials by recognizing the outstanding achievements of people of color.
Santa Clarita, Ca (PRWEB) October 29, 2015
David Heredia of Heredia Designs LLC, launches a new, educational video series called Heroes of Color. The three-minute episodes will celebrate the outstanding achievements, courage and perseverance of a diverse group of heroes ranging from Black, Latino, Native American and Filipino backgrounds.
The pilot episode tells the story of the 369th U.S Army Regiment, also known as “The Harlem Hellfighters.” This was one of many segregated black military units that in 1918 served in Word War 1 in France.
“This type of thing is what the generation needs. To be able to teach history in such a manner so quickly will surely keep everyone engaged,” said Joe Dillard, President of the NAACP.
David is no stranger to educating through art, as in 2012 Heredia Designs was commissioned for a two-year contract by the global education leader, Pearson. Through this business collaboration, Heredia Designs developed over 200 Kindergarten through 6th grade e-learning videos in accordance with English Language Arts and Math Common Core State Standards.
Heredia Designs is marketing the proposed 52 episode series to networks focused on educational programming. In addition, Heredia Designs will be marketing the series to schools as each video will include comprehensive lesson plans.
