Community partners donate time and materials to local elementary school to improve campus spaces

PHOENIX (PRWEB) March 23, 2018

Local elementary school, Indian Bend Elementary, was the recipient of a community effort to support community playgrounds. The “Love Our Schools” program supports educational improvements for Phoenix-area schools by partnering with local businesses who volunteered time and materials. On March 24, IBES will be holding a recognition ceremony this for partners and children in the area.

Among the volunteer organizations is Tot Turf who contributed surface materials and installation services. “We are so excited to have the opportunity to help build our local community through play, it’s our company’s mission and what we strive to do each day,” said Richard Hawley, VP of Sales for Robertson Recreational Surfaces, makers of Tot Turf.

At the grand opening, two local churches, Genesis Church and Scottsdale Bible Church, will be performing community service projects for IBES, such as yard clean-up and classroom maintenance as well as building new planters for the school garden. Local children are welcome to participate and enjoy donuts during the event.

The event will open at 9:30 a.m. and continue with ceremonies starting at 10.
