Offering Free Downloads of IRDA Winning Books Weds, 6/15 to Introduce to Readers
Montclair, NJ (PRWEB) June 15, 2016
IndieReader (IR), the consumer guide to self-published books and the people who write them, is hosting a day of free ebook downloads to introduce consumers to the winners of its 2016 IR Discovery Awards (IRDAs). Downloads (an estimated $200 value) will be available starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15 through 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16. All free books, along with author interviews, book samples, trailers and more will be available at http://indiereader.com/irda/.
IR created the Discovery Awards to give indie authors access to people who can make a difference in their book’s success. While writing a great book is the first step, getting it in front of the right people is also a critical part of making an indie book a success. To that end, judges on the IRDA panel included publishers, PR professionals, top industry bloggers and more.
The top six winners (three each in fiction and non-fiction) will have their titles submitted to top New York literary agents Dystal & Goderich for representation consideration. There were additionally winners in 26 sub-categories, whose names and books are included in the attached document. Judging was based on the quality of writing and the originality of the story.
“Offering these award-winning ebooks for free allows readers the opportunity to discover how great self- published books can be,” said IR Founder Amy Edelman. “More than ever, it is the reader’s opinion which counts the most.”
