International M&A Professionals Convene in Chicago
Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors hosts Summer Conference to facilitate networking, deal sourcing, and collaboration on emerging industry issues
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 26, 2018
More than 400 M&A investment, advisory, and transaction professionals from around the world will convene in Chicago this summer to discuss the state of the middle market and make deals at The Alliance 2018 Summer Conference. Hosted by the Alliance of M&A Advisors (The Alliance), the conference will take place at the Loews Chicago Downtown Hotel, July 17–19.
According to Bruce Marks, business acquisition specialist/GGL Division at Radius Bank and chairman of The Alliance 2018 Summer Conference planning committee, the theme for the meeting is “The Changing Dynamics of M&A: Future Concerns, Real Solutions.” He characterizes the event as “a robust mix of relationship building and deal sourcing, plus the kind of high-level professional education M&A executives need in order to stay on top of a rapidly changing business climate.”
This year’s program “strongly emphasizes the ‘dynamic’ aspect of middle market M&A,” said Marks. “This area of corporate finance is incredibly active right now, with numerous economic indicators pointing to continued positive growth. The conference is designed to provide an equally dynamic environment where attendees can make actionable connections, find opportunities, and close deals.”
In one of the most highly anticipated changes to the agenda, this year’s Summer Conference will be anchored by two dedicated Deal Bash sessions where investors and intermediaries can schedule one-to-one meetings and transact business. During each Deal Bash, those seeking capital have the chance to pitch opportunities to various investors in hopes of piquing interest in their deals or laying the pipeline for future business.
The executive-level program also features educational sessions where attendees can explore and engage in dialogue about the economic issues and business disruptions that are having a direct impact on the risks and rewards of deal making. Topics up for discussion range from cybersecurity and M&A tax reform to blockchain and business valuation. Featured keynote speakers include Tom Deans, author of Every Family’s Business, widely regarded as the best-selling family business book of all-time.
