A Pittsburgh-based inventor service firm, InventHelp is submitting the SCOOTER RAMP GUARD to companies for their review.

As a physically handicapped person, an inventor from Birmingham, Ala., relies on a scooter to get around, and he knows the difficulty and risk involved with backing scooters up ramps. "In order to streamline this process I conceived of an improved ramp," he said. "Then I created a prototype of my idea."

The patent-pending SCOOTER RAMP GUARD enhances ease and safety when rolling a handicap-assistance scooter into and out of a vehicle. This minimizes stress on the rear wheels, as well as helps prevent rear wheels from slipping the ramp sides, which avoids injuries. As a result, the improved ramp promotes peace of mind and independence. It also can be used for power chairs, ATVs, lawn mowers, motorcycles, etc.
