InventHelp Inventor Develops Alternative Way to Wear Sunglasses (SAH-861)
InventHelp is working to submit this idea, the CAP N SEE, to companies for their potential feedback.
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 25, 2015
"My neighbor had surgery on his nose to remove skin cancer," said an inventor from Fair Oaks, CA. "While he was recovering, he was unable to wear his prescription glasses until his nose healed. He wasn't able to watch TV, read or drive, and he was devastated. I came up with the idea to provide an alternative way to wear prescription/sunglasses without them landing on his face. He said it gave him back his life during his recovery, and it was a lifesaver."
He created a prototype for the CAP N SEE to provide a more comfortable way to wear prescription or sunglasses. The design allows eyewear to be worn without any facial contact and relieves pressure on the ears and nose, preventing skin irritation and discomfort. It features a stylish design based on a cap style that could feature a personal imprint, i.e., sports-team logos. The unit can ensure the eyes are protected from harsh sunlight when used with sunglasses, but more importantly, it provides people who are recovering from nose injury or surgery to wear prescription glasses during the healing process.
The original design was submitted to the Sacramento office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
