InventHelp, based in Pittsburgh and founded in 1984, is submitting the SMART TOILET SEAT to companies for their review.

PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 20, 2015

"I kept forgetting to put the toilet seat back down at my friend's house," said an inventor from Detroit, Mich. "I thought that there had to be a better solution to the problem of men forgetting to put the seat down after urinating, which is what led me to invent this."

He developed the SMART TOILET SEAT to ensure that the seat is returned to the down position after a man urinates. The accessory saves the user from having to remember to put the seat back down. It prevents someone from sitting on the toilet when the seat is raised. This avoids household arguments. Additionally, the seat is adaptable for use with any toilet, and it is designed for ease of use.

The original design was submitted to the Detroit office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
