Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is attempting to submit the J J Collar to applicable companies for their consideration and in the hopes of a good faith review.

An inventor from Jersey City, N.J., has developed an invention that keeps a dress shirt looking clean and crisp. The J J Collar reduces the amount of times that the user need to launder or dry clean the shirt, and it also prevents damage and pilling to shirts caused scrubbing and stains.

Designed to save time and money, the invention makes shirts last longer, minimizing the need to purchase new shirts to replace old or soiled ones. Additionally, the invention is producible in design variations.

When asked what inspired the idea, the inventor explained, "I was inspired to develop my idea because I was tired of having to constantly launder or dry-clean my dress shirts. My invention helps keep shirts looking clean and new, which cuts down on laundry and dry cleaning costs."
