Presented by Lehigh Valley Business, the award winner will be announced at a dinner ceremony at the ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem on December 8, 2015

Bethlehem, Pa. (PRWEB) September 29, 2015

Lehigh Mining & Navigation (lehighminingandnavigation.com), the area?s premier advertising and public relations agency, was recognized as a finalist for the 2015 Business of the Year Award (1-35 employees category) for the second consecutive year. Presented by Lehigh Valley Business (lvb.com), the award winner will be announced at a dinner ceremony at the ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem on December 8, 2015.

?To keep the kinds of clients Lehigh Mining & Navigation has, you have to work tirelessly to advance their business by understanding what their audience wants and how they think and use information,? said Michael Drabenstott, managing partner. ?Our team understands each client?s brand identity - what makes them special, different and appealing. We work with our clients to mine relevant data and create campaigns that reach targeted audiences and separate our clients from the competition.?

2015 has proved to be a successful year for Lehigh Mining & Navigation. The agency won 10 awards at the 15th Annual Lehigh Valley ADDY competition as well as a Silver ADDY at the regional award show, which includes agencies from New York and Philadelphia. At the 86th Annual Art Directors Club of Philadelphia gala, Lehigh Mining & Navigation captured four ?Louix? awards and a ?Judge?s Choice? award.

Lehigh Mining & Navigation also collaborated with ArtsQuest, Discover Lehigh Valley and Lehigh Valley United to conceptualize, plan and execute the 2015 FIFA World Cup SoccerFest and Viewing Party at SteelStacks in Bethlehem. Nearly 8,500 joyous fans decked out in red, white and blue watched the U.S. Women?s National Team beat Japan in the final game to capture the World Cup. It was one of the largest viewing parties in the nation.

The agency also committed time and effort towards pro bono work, including providing Mercy School for Special Learning with strategic communications planning and a new visual identity, which was unveiled at a news event in September 2015. Mercy, a school for children with disabilities, needed to establish an identity and platform that would enable it to widen its product offerings while staying true to its mission. Mercy?s board described Lehigh Mining & Navigation?s involvement as ?invaluable? in helping to set a strategic and actionable course for the school.

The competition for Business of the Year has a regional focus and is conducted annually, becoming a top honor for Lehigh Valley businesses. Finalists were chosen by an independent panel of judges. The awards program celebrates the region?s most dynamic businesses and business leaders who share a commitment to professional excellence, business growth and the community.
