WhizBang! Training surveyed independent local store owners to produce a unique holiday gift guide for 2013.

Grand Haven, MI (PRWEB) November 24, 2013

A survey by WhizBang! Training of its independent retail clients produced a unique holiday gift guide for 2013. Twenty-five gifts were selected in seven different categories. “We created this gift guide to remind consumers that local stores have something special to offer this holiday season,” said WhizBang! Training co-founder Bob Negen. Studies have shown that local retailers return a total of 52 percent of their revenue to the local economy, compared to just 14 percent for the national chain retailers. “Shopping at local stores supports healthy communities,” advises Bob Negen.

WhizBang! Training’s Unique Gift Guide shows the diversity of gifts that can be found at local retail stores. Businesses represented in the Unique Gift Guide are also diverse and include a bicycle shop, toy stores, specialty gift boutiques, and even a tack shop for all things related to horses. “Large chain stores cater to the masses and carry products meant to sell in high volume,” says Susan Negen, WhizBang! Training’s other co-founder. “Local specialty stores carry interesting gifts that can’t be found in the chain stores due to their small production volumes.” The WhizBang! Training Unique Holiday Gift Guide for 2013 can be found on the WhizBang! Training website: WhizbangTraining.com.
