LULAC and AT&T to Upgrade Empower Hispanic America Technology Center in Chicago, IL
The League of United Latin America Citizens (LULAC), with the help of AT&T, will upgrade its Empower Hispanic America Technology Center with state-of-the-art equipment.

On September 28, The League of United Latin America Citizens (LULAC), with the help of AT&T, will upgrade its Empower Hispanic America Technology Center with state-of-the-art equipment, office applications software and technology curriculum.
Individuals who visit the center will now have the technology they need for GED preparation, financial aid research, online citizenship classes and job-search programs. The center will also provide individuals with the use of high-speed Internet access and basic office applications software to develop job skills and expand career options.
At the press conference, members of HACEMOS, AT&T?s employee resource group, will lead a workshop on Digital Citizenship to approximately 30 visitors following remarks. The upgrade is part of a series of upgrades taking place in 2015. The other sites include: Miami, FL; Albuquerque, NM; Salt Lake City, UT; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; and Tulsa, OK.
