Medic-CE’s 48-hour Critical Care Transport Review Program has been accredited by the state of Virginia, enabling providers to earn continuing education credits that can be used to maintain both their national and state certifications.

LEHI, Utah (PRWEB) May 22, 2018

“We are pleased to receive this accreditation from the state of Virginia," said Judson Smith, Medic-CE’s vice president of continuing education. “Our passion is to provide high-quality training in an innovative way, and this accreditation is one more recognition that we are on the right track. With our in-depth critical care program, Virginia’s paramedics can now earn the continuing education units (CEUs) they need to maintain both their state and national critical care certifications in our virtual classrooms.

Medic-CE’s 48-hour program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE), approved by the International Board of Specialty Certification’s (IBSC) Board of Critical Care Transport Paramedic Certification (BCCTPC), and accepted by the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) as an F5 course.

The program trains EMS professionals in transfer considerations, airway and ventilation management, flight physiology, barophysiology and more. EMS providers can use the program to earn the CEUs they need to maintain CCEMT-P, CCP-C, or FP-C credentials or to prepare to sit for the CCP-C or FP-C exams, and nurses can even use the program for CEN and CFRN test prep review.
