WESTBOROUGH, Mass. (PRWEB) April 19, 2018
The Channel Company announced that it will be hosting its industry-leading Midsize Enterprise Summit: Spring (MES Spring) from April 29 to May 1 in Orlando, Fla. The end-user event is the largest independent gathering of midmarket CIOs and senior IT executives, and features Gartner, Inc., analysts as speakers.
This year’s theme, “A New Vision for the Midsize Enterprise CIO,” will discuss the pressure on midmarket CIOs and senior IT executives to articulate the business value of the barrage of new technologies on the market and the pressure to modernize the data center to keep pace with these technological advancements. It will also highlight how CIOs need a new roadmap to effectively implement these changes at scale and deliver a competitive edge.
“More than 200 midmarket CIOs and senior IT executives will gather at MES Spring,” said Robert DeMarzo, senior vice president, event content and strategy, The Channel Company. “To us, MES alleviates some of the decision-making stress that these CIOs and senior executives face by putting them in direct contact with today’s leading technology suppliers and Gartner analysts – all in a single venue. From our view, they leave armed with everything that they need to create ‘a new vision’ for IT within their organization — one that will leap frog them past their competition.”
The two-and-a-half-day summit is designed to help midmarket executives learn about the latest IT industry opportunities, trends and innovative solutions. This year’s MES Spring 2018 agenda (https://www.thechannelco.com/events/midsize-enterprise-summit-spring-2018/agenda) will connect CIOs and senior IT executives with the IT industry’s leading technology suppliers, developers and solution providers through numerous networking opportunities, interactive boardroom appointments, keynote and executive sessions, roundtable discussions, private meetings, the Solutions Pavilion, and more.
We feel that the defining feature of this unique midmarket end-user event is the expertise and insight provided by Gartner analysts, who speak about their research and actionable business intelligence to IT executive attendees. We’ve positioned the event so that the analysts also are available for one-on-one meetings to discuss the latest midmarket developments, opportunities and business strategies, including such topics as: CIO Strategy and Vision; IoT in the Midmarket; Practical Security Strategies; Hybrid Cloud and Hyperconvergence; and Public Cloud and Office 365.
