9,470 SF of Additional Space and Interior Renovations Enhance Existing Facility

This project involved a 9,470 SF addition and interior renovations to Somerford’s existing assisted living facility. The project included renovations to the kitchen, an additional dining area, renovations to the corridors of the existing resident apartments, and 16 modernized private suites.
This expansion project will house Somerford of Hagerstown’s Bridge to Rediscovery program that is designed specifically to meet the needs of those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The extension maximizes natural light throughout and features custom stonework throughout common areas and three secure outdoor gardens.
