SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (PRWEB) April 19, 2018
NCPDP announced today that Surescripts has signed as a Benefactor sponsor for 2018/2019 to support NCPDP’s continued growth. Surescripts has been a long-time supporter of NCPDP in leading the industry in healthcare standards and solutions for the common good.
“As a long-time member of NCPDP, we have taken a leading role in advancing healthcare by advocating on behalf of the Surescripts Network Alliance to support standards that improve outcomes through the exchange of health information,” said Tom Skelton, Chief Executive Officer of Surescripts. “Through our participation in 35 committees, work groups and task groups, other leadership positions, and now as a Benefactor sponsor, we are committed to partnering with NCPDP to collectively increase patient safety, lower costs and ensure quality care.”
“We are pleased to welcome Surescripts as a Benefactor Sponsor,” explained Lee Ann Stember, President and CEO of NCPDP. “Surescripts has supported its employees’ active involvement in our problem-solving forums and has leveraged NCPDP standards as an integral part of its core businesses. We look forward to continuing our long-term relationship.”
As a Benefactor sponsor, Surescripts will have a preferential opportunity to become an NCPDP Elite Partner, if one of the partnerships becomes available. The Elite Partner Program is limited to five organizations that demonstrate long-term strategic alignment with NCPDP through a 3-year agreement for sustained financial support.
