The NovoCyte Quanteon™ flow cytometer, a highly advanced benchtop instrument with 4 lasers and 25-color options, will be launched at CYTO 2018

SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) May 01, 2018

Continuing its track record as an innovator in in flow cytometry, today, ACEA Biosciences released the most advanced benchtop flow cytometer on the market. The NovoCyte Quanteon flow cytometer builds upon its wildly successful predecessor, the NovoCyte, to provide an expanded set of capabilities that easily accommodates the large, multi-color panels found in today’s highly progressive flow cytometry laboratories. Scientists now have the flexibility to choose from 25 fluorescent channels utilizing four lasers (405, 488, 561, and 637nm) with 25 independent silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) detectors. The instrument’s syringe pump provides direct volumetric cell counts, eliminating the cost and hassle of using reference beads. The automation-ready Quanteon also features automatic system startup and shutdown, as well as automatic clog detection and recovery. State-of-the-art fluidics and optics, including top-shelf lasers, optical filters and detectors, enable the Quanteon to deliver exceptional consistency and reliability.

The NovoSampler Q®, an automatic sample loading system that integrates seamlessly with the Quanteon, efficiently processes both FACS tubes (using a 40-tube rack) and microtiter plates (24-, 48-, 96-, and 384-well) to improve workflow efficiency and throughput capabilities.

Finally, the intuitive and industry leading NovoExpress® software has been expanded to include new suite of tools for data analysis and reporting.

ACEA will exhibit the newly launched NovoCyte Quanteon system with the NovoSampler Q at booth #2 at CYTO 2018, Prague, Czech Republic, April 28 - May 2, 2018.
