OfficeList.com Announces Changes to Flat-Style Management Structure
In an effort to improve internal management and overall productivity, newly appointed OfficeList CEO changes company to a more horizontal organization approach.
Miami Beach, FL (PRWEB) October 26, 2015
Jorge Pena took over as CEO of OfficeList.com just a few months ago, but he's already well on his way to making his mark on the company. In light of some issues the office listing service has had in the past, Pena decided it would be in their best interest to move to a more horizontal, or flat style of management structure.
This type of organization model has little to no levels of middle management between staff and executives, which he believes will allow the company to better take advantage of each individual's strengths and talents.
"Moving to a flat management structure has given OfficeList a lot of room to bring out the best in each one of our team members," Pena said in a statement. "Change always comes with a bit of friction but once that initial phase passed, we have found great ways to collaborate and move OfficeList forward towards our company goals as a group. I wouldn't have it any other way."
As a company they are currently focusing on growing their temporary office space and listing service business base overall by generating more leads with software they recently started using. This effort includes outbound calling, branding with old clients, rebuilding relationships, and reconnecting with older clients to see if they are in need of further services.
They're also working extensively with business centers across America regarding promotions and spaces that they have available, maintaining and building on relationships with them in order to get more closings and feedback about listings on their websites. They also plan to make update to their website in the coming months to make it more user friendly.
The belief among Pena and other executives is that this move will allow employees to more freely speak and talk about ideas they may have. Their opinions on certain projects and initiatives and constant feedback regarding how the company operates will lead to company improvements in the future.
