Growing industry focus on data is highlighted as key differentiation for national brokerages. offrs co-founder sees RE tech as driven by real estate agents.
SARASOTA, Fla. (PRWEB) April 12, 2018
At this year’s ERA conference in Nevada, offrs.com co-founder Rich Swier revealed the latest trends in real estate tech, to include developments in improved lead generation technologies as well as an overall industry-wide push for monetization of Big Data through AdTech (Advertising Technology) and MarTech (Marketing Technology) solutions.
Mr. Swier detailed his team’s predictions for 2018 and beyond, saying agents “...are going to be so critical and have so much impact on the future of not just the industry, but on the technology - us as providers.” He continued, saying “There’s a lot of this weird talk about agents being replaced by technology… I’m a complete believer in the opposite, I think that agents are the only thing that can empower companies like us.”
As ERA, its members and the industry as a whole continue to make the push for data monetization, Mr. Swier revealed that “Every broker will be looking to expand their investment in data to fuel continued lead generation, better serve existing clients and help assure future growth in an increasingly competitive market.”
The panel, hosted by recently-appointed ERA CEO, Simon Chen, featured offrs, Opcity and OJO Labs and took place on February 19 – February 21, 2018, at the annual ERA conference in Las Vegas, NV. 6,000 ERA members were in attendance.
