The 11,500 square foot building is scheduled to be finished in December 2018

LOGAN, Ohio (PRWEB) May 13, 2018

Palmetto Construction Services is currently underway on the new Hocking Hills Visitor’s Center in Logan, Ohio. The project began earlier this year with foundation work wrapping up and the construction of the building on the way.

The $5.1 Million Dollar two-story center will have resources for hiker and visitor safety, including information about the history and geology of the area. The new center will also provide updates on trail conditions and hiking precautions.

“Safety and meeting our schedule deadlines are the number one priorities to our team and the client on this project,” said Casey Cusack, CEO for Palmetto Construction. “We ran into a couple weather delays but we stayed focused and found work arounds to get us back on track.”

Demolition of the old Visitor’s Center began in January of 2018. The new Visitor’s Center is targeted for a December 2018 completion date.
