Plans On Continuing the Company’s Focus on Innovation

Among Paul’s goals in his new position is continuing the company’s focus on innovation. The push towards smaller electrical and electronic devices means capacitors too, must be smaller and lighter with the same or better energy density than earlier designs. Additionally, Paul plans on increasing knowledge-sharing throughout the company to help Aerovox staff assess client needs quickly and bring products to market faster and less expensively. Meeting customer requirements without overengineering can be challenging, but it is key to creating capacitors which perform to spec and are priced well. Paul also intends to leverage Aerovox’s R&D laboratory to help advance the company’s capacitor engineering and design capability.
