Persian School Bazi Va Zaban Launches its 2018 Summer Session June 2

The Los Angeles school says that this year’s offerings will once again include outstanding instruction in the Persian language as well as art, music, and fun for children 3 through 13.

The school says that its offerings this year will include painting and performing arts, including music and puppetry. Bazi Va Zaban, which is Persian for “Play and Language,” continues its commitment to child centered learning by including lots of opportunities for students to have fun while they learn. The school adds that it works hard to make sure that students look forward to their Saturday school and develop a positive association with their Persian heritage.

Bazi Va Zaban was founded by Mozhgan Rajablu and Shahab Saba, both well-known members of the Los Angeles Iranian-American educational and business community. They believe the school is a natural outgrowth of their day-to-day efforts with the world’s largest Persian community. “Our work is about helping our families to keep our heritage alive and growing, as we continue to thrive here in Southern California,” says Ms. Rajablu, a former Iranian national chess champion. “By keeping our work focused on children and getting them to enjoy learning about their heritage and staying connected with the community, we’re setting children up for a richer, fuller life here in the U.S.”
