Riedon resistors, a specialized manufacturer of cutting edge resistive solutions, is pleased to announce a new line of fuse holders designed for class “T” fast acting fuses. These rugged components are available with terminations suitable for ring or spade terminals up to #4 (FB) or bare wire up to #6 – 250 MCM gauge (CFB). The fuse holders feature a fiberglass reinforced base and clear snap on polycarbonate cover to protect users, prevent against accidental shorts, and satisfy American Boat and Yacht Council/United States Coast Guard requirements. The devices are available with or without fuses, and a variety of fuse ratings are available to meet the needs of diverse installations.

Common applications include the protection of battery systems in off-grid power systems such as those found in recreational vehicles, remote cabins, boats and yachts. These battery systems are often used in conjunction with photovoltaic or wind inverters, and power converters. Due to the fast-acting nature of the class “T” fuses used with the FB and CFB fuse holders, they may also be used in certain panel board installations or for the protection of sensitive SCR circuits.
