Safe Drug Disposal for Residents of Alameda County that attend the Fair!
Come to the Alameda County Fairgrounds to dispose of unwanted or expired medications from households. Enter through Gate 8, the Green Gate, off of Valley Ave, and the station is just inside the Fairgrounds next to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office station.
The station hours are from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, and 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
Over-the-counter and prescription drugs, including controlled substances, are accepted.
MED-Project does NOT accept illegal substances, inhalers, aerosols, or needles.
