Showpad Appoints SAP Hybris Veteran Don Matejko as Chief Revenue Officer
Experienced sales executive will scale Showpad’s revenue and facilitate growth in Chicago and global markets
CHICAGO (PRWEB) April 17, 2018
Showpad, the world's most powerful sales and marketing success platform, has named Don Matejko as the company’s Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, he’ll be responsible for scaling Showpad’s revenue as the company continues to grow in Chicago and expand around the globe. In the past year, Showpad has experienced significant global growth with the opening of its North American headquarters in Chicago and a $25 million funding round, and Matejko will use his expertise to accelerate this growth.
“We’re thrilled to add Don’s leadership and sales knowledge to the team,” says Jason Holmes, COO and President of Showpad. “He is an incredible leader whose extensive experience and talent will be key to helping us achieve our aggressive growth goals. As we continue to expand, Don’s extensive SaaS experience will play an integral role in this growth.”
Matejko joins Showpad from SAP Hybris, where he served as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Field Operations. In this role, he scaled and transformed SAP Hybris into a billion dollar line of business, leading the business into a period of hyper growth. Prior to SAP Hybris, Matejko helped Adobe transform their Digital Marketing business across the Americas, bringing their business to the cloud. Matejko’s tech and SaaS experience, along with his demonstrated track record of building high performance sales teams, will be a tremendous asset to Showpad’s leadership team.
Showpad has experienced intense growth over the last year, and just landed the number 528 spot on the Inc. 5000 list, with a 986 percent revenue growth from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, Showpad established Chicago as its North American headquarters. Matejko will be based in Showpad’s Chicago office and headquarters, which has quickly grown along with the city’s thriving B2B tech environment. Showpad’s investment in its leadership team is a testament to the company’s successful business model, and ability to quickly and effectively scale in a new market.
“It’s an incredible time to join Showpad. We’re at the forefront of innovation in the sales and marketing tech space.” adds Matejko. “Showpad not only has an incredible product, but has maintained a critical focus on supporting its customers which has driven their hyper-growth over the past several years. I’m excited to be part of the team, to continue this momentum and help build Showpad into a tech powerhouse not only here in Chicago, but globally.”
