30-year veteran will spearhead company?s R&D, positioning company for further innovation and global market share in irrigation technology space

Signature Control Systems, Inc. today announced the hiring of David Nichols-Roy as Senior Mechanical Engineer.

A 30-year product design and development veteran, Nichols-Roy will be responsible for further enhancing Signature?s cutting-edge and industry-leading line of irrigation technology solutions.

Nichols-Roy has spearheaded numerous successful R&D and product launch campaigns throughout his career, resulting in impressive corporate growth.

In his most recent position as Director of Plumbing Product Development for Lavelle Industries, Inc., Nichols-Roy was instrumental in the successful launch of a new line of toilet fill valves and adjustable flush valves sold at Lowe?s. Sales grew throughout his nine years at the company. He also earned many ?Vendor-of-the-Year? awards from Lowe?s and Ace Hardware.

Nichols-Roy also served as General Manager at Hunter Plumbing Products, a division of San Marcos, California-based Hunter Industries Inc. as well as at Carlsbad, California-based Aqua Products, Inc. He began his career as Engineering Manager at Fillpro Products, Inc. a division of Delta Faucet Company.

A resident of Escondido, California, Nichols-Roy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
