Witchily gibbering and epic fight scenes, William Shakespeare’s Macbeth hit the stage in a big way. Performed by Wasatch Academy’s thespians, spectators were captivated by the performance.

Kelly Hyatt’s (Lady Macbeth) delivery was authentic. She brought to life Lady Macbeth’s sinister plot to sit at the throne as queen. Misha Zhukov’s (Macbeth) commitment to perfection was evident in every expressive line and fight scene.

Directed by instructor Winnie Wood, the company dedicated much of their time and energy to rehearsals and memorizing lines. In an interview Kelly and Misha talk about Macbeth and some of the challenges preparing for the play. With a production this colossal, bonds of friendship are inevitably forged. "It really is one big, strange family and I am grateful and proud to be a part of it," said Wood.
