InventHelp, based in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit the Dress Weights to appropriate companies for their consideration.

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) November 29, 2013

Marilyn Monroe and her blown-up dress may be iconic worldwide, but such an incident can be mortifying and inappropriate in real life. "After my dress blew up while at a gas station, I decided that a way of weighting dresses and skirts down was needed," said one of two inventors from Albuquerque, N.M. "However, I wanted to make sure that it could be done in a fashionable manner."

The Dress Weights prevents a dress or skirt from blowing up in the wind in order to avoid embarrassment and provide peace of mind. It also enhances the look of one’s outfit and may start a fashion trend. Easy to use and stylish, the weight can be produced in design variations. The inventors have created a prototype of their idea.

The original design was submitted to the Telemarketing office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
