Sunesys announces today a hybrid network solution for a 1 Gbps Ethernet private line and dark fiber network for Almac Group Limited in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Warrington, PA (PRWEB) November 12, 2013

Sunesys LLC, a dark fiber and lit network and telecommunications services provider, is proud to announce the recent completion of a connected fiber broadband network for Almac Group Limited.

Almac required a hybrid solution for a 1 Gbps Ethernet private line and dark fiber network to support their comprehensive range of services including research, pharmaceutical and clinical development, and product commercialization. The solution includes dark fiber connectivity between four locations in Southeastern Pennsylvania as well as a 1Gbps direct connection from their Souderton location to a colocation facility in Philadelphia. Using this connection, Almac is able to provide transport to their MPLS network serving additional remote locations.

“Sunesys is proud to offer a state-of-the-art, complex network solution for Almac,” states Sunesys’ senior vice president Alan Katz. “The hybrid lit and dark connectivity provides unlimited bandwidth for Almac’s internal site operations via the dark fiber point to point network, while the lit portion gives Almac access to their remote operations and additional services available at the datacenter.”

“The Sunesys Fiber construction for our sites were managed very professionally, delivered on time and under budget. Their team was willing to work with us on the network design and go outside their normal service delivery, making our partnership a great success.” - Almac Manager Telecommunications, Shane Hicks.

Sunesys currently operates over 8,900 fiber route miles in nine states across the country including over 5,000 miles in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Sunesys’ entire footprint is available for download in Google Earth format here: http://sunesys.com/locations/.
