Sweeney’s, a trusted brand in mole and gopher control since 1892, is currently running the wildly popular, “I Hate Moles Because” Facebook contest.

Sweeney’s carries a wide-array of repellents and traps aimed to rid well-maintained yards and gardens of the pesky critters. The company knows the frustration that moles can cause homeowners and that why the contest was created -- as a way for customers to vent about moles

Entries can be submitted in any format from a video, haiku, photo, essay or even rap song explaining the entrant’s feelings about moles or the innovative ways moles were eliminated from the premises.

The grand prize winner will receive a $500 Visa gift card. The second and third prize winners will receive $200 and $100 Visa gift cards respectively and five runner-ups will each receive a gift basket full of Sweeney’s® Mole Control Weapons, including mole traps, granular and sonic repellents and poison baits. The contest runs through July 13, 2016.
