Dunn&Co. takes home a prestigious CLIO for the third time in four years

TAMPA, Fla. (PRWEB) May 09, 2018

Tampa advertising agency Dunn&Co. has been recognized by the CLIOs, the esteemed international competition honoring creative excellence, with an award in the CLIO Sports category for its Tampa Bay Lightning online film, “Distant Thunder”.

The CLIO was awarded to Dunn&Co. for its production that tells the story of Callum Brown, a 24-year-old Tampa Bay Lightning fan who lives in Auckland, New Zealand. The agency discovered him on a hockey message board and traveled 8,000 miles to document how someone on the other side of the globe could be such a passionate Tampa Bay Lightning hockey fan.

“Our ‘Distant Thunder’ campaign showcases Tampa Bay Lightning fans from around the world, and Callum is an exceptional example of fandom,” said Dunn&Co. president, Troy Dunn. “His devotion to the Lightning is captured in such a beautiful and emotional manner by our production team and reminds us how rewarding it is to work with a brand that inspires such passion and loyalty from its supporters.”

The CLIO Awards is the esteemed international awards competition for the creative business, judged by industry peers. Founded in 1959 to celebrate high achievement in advertising, the CLIOs annually and throughout the year recognizes the work, agencies and talent that push boundaries and establish new precedents across a variety of categories, including advertising, sports, fashion, music, entertainment and health care.
