The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance Appoints Wesley Moss as Social Media Director

The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance has seen tremendous growth this year and now has over 280 members and 7 regional chapters.

The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Wesley Moss as the new Social Media Director. Mr. Moss is a student at Georgia Gwinnet College where he is working on a Business degree with a focus in Marketing. With his educational background and experience with Georgia-based companies, Mr. Moss will be vital in the social media efforts of GMA while assisting in everyday marketing functions. He has also help develop the BuyFromGeorgia.com website which promotes 1,000s of consumer-based products that are made in Georgia.

“I will be handling the social media efforts for our events and am excited to join the GMA team as we head into our Buy From Georgia initiative,” said Mr. Moss. “We have been working together to research and develop our BuyFromGeorgia.com website which features 1,000s of name brand and unique items that are produced in our state. The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance will also be hosting plant tours highlighting manufacturers that produce consumer-based products manufactured in our state during the July. For the past 4 years, Governor Nathan Deal has presented the “Buy from GA” month proclamation to the members of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance at the State Capitol each July to promote manufacturers and the goods they produce in Georgia.

The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance has seen tremendous growth this year and now has over 280 members and 7 regional chapters. GMA will host over 120 events this year including plant tours, networking events, tradeshows, and educational sessions. GMA’s largest event of the year is the Georgia Manufacturing Summit which will be held October 10, 2018 at the Cobb Galleria. It is expected to attract over 1,000 manufacturing professionals from across the Southeast and will have over 30 industry experts address the “The Future Manufacturing Trends to Track”.
