The Superior Small Lodging Association Announces its New Partnership with the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association

The Superior Small Lodging Association is thrilled to announce our new partnership with the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association. Through this strategic collaboration we become stronger and more effective in our efforts to promote the tourism industry in throughout the state.

The Superior Small Lodging Association (SSLA) announced today that it has partnered with the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA) with the common goal of promoting, educating and protecting the members of Florida?s hospitality industry. This collaboration will surly help secure a more sustainable future for both associations and all partners and members.

?Building strong partnerships is vital to the success and effectiveness of any organization. Through strategic collaboration we become stronger and more effective while gaining access to education, training, funding and programs that are essential to the future our organizations,? said Scott Rivelli, Executive Director of SSLA.

Effective October 1, 2015 all members of the Superior Small Lodging Association (SSLA) will now automatically become members of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and will receive all benefits of FRLA membership. Additionally, members with restaurants also become members of the National Restaurant Association (NRA). This arrangement is an added value of SSLA membership with no additional cost to SSLA members.

FRLA?s mission is to protect, educate and promote Florida?s hospitality industry. Every hotel in Florida has benefited from the work FRLA does through their government relations board in fighting the fights that are most important to our industry. Additionally, many SSLA members have already benefited from free legal counsel for ADA issues and industry alerts and scams. With talk of increased bed taxes in some areas and confusion about what to do about the new App based vacation rental companies that do not pay their fair share there is a lot of work ahead and this partnership assures that SSLA will be a pro-active participant moving forward.
