Tool King, Inc., a Wheeling-based ISO 9001:2015 certified specialty niche metal service center, will continue their trend of community engagement as they sponsor a Career and Job Fair at Wheeling High School on Tuesday, May 8th. This event will inform students of potential career choices that the surrounding community offers.

WHEELING, Ill. (PRWEB) April 24, 2018

Tool King, Inc. was awarded with Manufacturer of the Year by the Wheeling/Prospect Heights Chamber of Commerce this past March of 2018. This selective award highlighted their commitment to the economic and community development of Wheeling, the city that they have called home since 1976.

Tool King, Inc. is sponsoring a Career and Job Fair at Wheeling High School on Tuesday, May 8th. The career fair will be open to students only from 2 PM until 3:30 PM, and then from 4:30 PM until 6 PM for students and the general public.

Not only will they be present at the event, but the event itself is meant to serve non-college bound students to inform them about potential career choices, employers and internships available to them in the surrounding community. Tool King, Inc. is actively looking for companies that may want to participate in the job fair, as well! Tool King is available for contact at 847-537-2881, ext. 131.

Non-college bound students have numerous career options before them, and this event allows them to explore those options and gain some insight into potential companies and professions that may suit them.

Companies that attend this job fair are seeking people to fill open positions that offer long-term career and growth potential. Many of these companies are willing to invest in their employees, covering the expense of additional education as may be required for said growth within a company or profession.

Students need to know about these options and Tool King, in line with their consistent desire to give back to the Wheeling Community, has taken active steps in ensuring this knowledge is available to members of the community.

Peter Hestad, Tool King's CEO, looks forward to the event:

“We are hoping the upcoming job fair at Wheeling High School will give non-college bound students career opportunities with local companies that offer long term employment and benefits to help enhance their lives."
