Cypress, CA (PRWEB) May 13, 2016
Trident University International (Trident) would like to announce an expansion to its Strategic Alliances and Outreach Services department, adding Alumni Relations and Career & Workforce Strategies, under the leadership of Esmeralda Silva, who will serve as Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Outreach Services.
Alumni Relations and Career and Workforce Strategies are key service enhancements for the Trident community that will see Silva and her team continue to play a critical role in connecting the University’s students, alumni, military partners, and corporate partners.
As part of this expansion, two key members of Trident’s management team receive promotions.
Tanya-White Earnest is now the Director of the Center for Career & Workforce Strategies. She joined Trident three years ago as Manager of Career Services, successfully creating and launching the Career Advising and Development Center. Through her efforts, Career Services has supported hundreds of military members in transition, and helped students and alumni prepare for and progress in their careers.
During her time managing the center, she launched the successful Webinar Wednesday series, created relationships with over 160 employers to recruit Trident students and alumni, and created four credit-based career development courses at the bachelor’s and master’s levels.
White-Earnest has over 20 years’ experience in training, organizational development, and performance improvement. She is a certified TAP Facilitator and created a TAP Supplemental Transition Workshop series, for which she secured a contract with the Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of Labor (DOL) at Scott Air Force Base to support thousands of transitioning military members, from all branches and at all levels of the services, and their spouses.
Additionally, she created, implemented, and facilitated the first set of Transition Workshops for the Kadena AB Family Support Center in Okinawa, Japan, including curriculum and supplemental workbook that served several hundred separating military members and their spouses.
She holds a Master’s of Science in Education, focused on Training and Performance Improvement, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Workforce Education, Training, and Development.
Kendra Temple has been promoted to the Director of Alumni Engagement and Outreach Operations. She has worked at Trident for the last 10 years, serving in a variety of roles, starting in administration, before moving to marketing, field team manager, and most recently, in Outreach and Partnership operations, overseeing the department’s process development, training, marketing coordination, event facilitation, budgeting, project management, and more.
Temple played a large role in Trident’s past Alumni outreach program in which she helped to facilitate alumni events, worked with key Alumni to arrange speaking engagements, and secured event coverage with Trident’s remote field team.
She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA), and is currently working on a Master of Business Administration at Trident.
Some of Trident’s notable alumni include SEAC (R) William “Joe” Gainey, CSM (R) Philip F. Johndrow, retired U.S. Army colonel Chip Tansill, who is the Director of the Ohio Department of Veterans Services, current Deputy to the Chief of the Air Force Reserve, Maryanne Miler, and D. Wayne Robinson, CEO of Student Veterans of America.
