V12 Connect Accelerates Healthcare Interoperability
Salesforce Consulting Partner Virsys12 Announces Release of Middleware Application Powered by Trinisys, Focused on Key Healthcare Challenge
Nashville, Tennessee (PRWEB) May 10, 2016
Virsys12, a Salesforce Silver Consulting Partner and award-winning leader in healthcare technology strategy, implementation and integration, has announced the release of V12 CONNECT, a cloud-based or on-premise application powered by Trinisys. Concurrently, CEO and Founder Tammy Hawes announced the signing of an OEM agreement with Trinisys to use their technology platform as the engine for V12 CONNECT. The middleware application is designed to efficiently meet healthcare integration needs by interface with both unstructured and structured data in all formats including HL7 and FHIR standards between various systems.
“At the heart of change for healthcare is the ability to easily exchange health-related data between systems to meet interoperability goals,” explains Virsys12 CEO and Founder Tammy Hawes. “V12 Connect is a HIPAA compliant and flexible interface engine with pre-built templates allowing rapid access to needed data from previously inaccessible electronic health records (EHRs), electronic medical records (EMRs), insurance claims, prescription, encounter, lab records and more. We were able to launch V12 successfully because of our strong new OEM partnership with Trinisys, a Nashville-based technology consultancy that has been named an Inc. 500 Top 100 Software Company.”
“Virsys12 is on the forefront of leveraging the Salesforce platform to improve healthcare,” comments Travis Gregg, Co-Founder/Principal of Trinisys, LLC. “We are excited to partner with the Virsys12 team to help expand their integration capabilities with a multitude of clinical systems and beyond.”
Providing integration that is faster, more efficient and affordable, V12 CONNECT will facilitate and accelerate healthcare interoperability goals for a wide variety of formats and standards including the recent HL7 FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), EDI, ASCII (RAW OR BINARY), HTML5, TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, PDF, Delimited Text, XML, Flat files, CDA and more according to Hawes. Trinisys Co-founder and Principal Travis Gregg will join Hawes in a live demonstration of the application as part of the Health:Further Quarterly program set for May 10. Tickets are available here.
While the official release on the Salesforce AppExchange is pending, V12 CONNECT has been successfully launched in early stage with Virsys12 clients including Renova PCA, a patient care advocate and revenue generator partner for health systems and physicians. According to Renova CIO Cromer Baldwin, “Virsys12 integrated the application quickly into our systems and accelerated our ability to access and process vital patient data, creating a benefit to both patients and care systems. Bottom line, V12 CONNECT is helping Renova fulfill our brand promise.”
Virsys12 has continued to accelerate its focus on healthcare since its launch in 2011. The firm expanded into operational application development in 2014 with the release of V12 ACO, a customized collaboration hub built on the Salesforce platform offering improved financial outcomes, increased data integrity and real-time analytic reporting for Accountable Care Organizations. More healthcare targeted applications are in the pipeline for release this year.
