WaterField Designs Introduces Spacious Bolt Travel Backpack for Work or Travel
WaterField’s new spacious Bolt Travel Backpack, with easy-access to laptops and tech gear, serves professionals in the workplace and busy airports.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 14, 2016
In time for the summer travel season, WaterField Designs launches the versatile Bolt Backpack, ideal for office or travel. With its roomy interior, ergonomic load-lightening straps and strategically-placed pockets, the Bolt holds ample tech gear or weekend necessities. An express zipper closes a designated laptop compartment allowing for quick access and ease through airport security. The handsome Bolt Laptop Backpack, in rustic waxed canvas or ballistic nylon with full-grain leather details, is a welcome departure from the standard sports or conventional backpack. WaterField Designs, an innovative leader in laptop sleeves, bags and cases for digital gear has been designing and manufacturing in San Francisco since 1998.
The Bolt Backpack’s thoughtful design anticipates how busy professionals navigate their days. A streamlined shape masks its large capacity. Ergonomically-designed straps distribute weight evenly for a comfortable, hands-free carry. The spacious main compartment—gold-lined to light up the interior—is accessible via two waterproof zippers, easing access to important items.
“I think what sets the Bolt Backpack apart for business travelers is that when you arrive at your destination, you can go straight to a meeting and your bag will look right in place,” said company owner Gary Waterfield. “The Bolt keeps your work-related items organized and ready to go, while kicking your style up a notch.”
The Bolt’s functionality rivals its handsome, comfortable design. A rear zipper leads to a shock-absorbing, foam-lined laptop compartment that holds up to a 15-inch MacBook Pro and a plush-lined tablet compartment for up to a 12.9-inch iPad Pro or 12-inch MacBook. This extra zipper allows for quick laptop and tablet access when rushing through TSA airport security, without messing with main compartment contents. A backside anti-sweat, mesh cushion doubles as a rolling suitcase slot for another easy way to transport the Bolt. A thick leather bottom boot provides structure to the backpack and enhances water-resistance and longevity. Finally, a leather-lined grab handle allows travelers to carry the Bolt suitcase-style in settings calling for a more formal look.
Carefully placed pockets keep travel gear accessible and secure. Low-profile pockets on either side hold a water bottle to help travelers stay hydrated. A front zippered pocket—protected against the elements from a small, rain-guard flap—holds passports and tickets secure, yet quickly accessible. Two additional front pockets close with hidden magnets and leather tabs to keep other travel items close at hand. Inside, two open-topped hand pockets close with Velcro pads to separate items such as chargers, cords and pens from the main compartment.
