Professional Physical Therapy donates $87,600 to veterans
Professional Physical Therapy of Uniondale said it donated more than $87,600 in proceeds from a casino fundraiser to the Intrepid Museum Foundation’s Veterans Access Initiative.
The new initiative offers cultural and educational programs for veterans and their families, including veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan; those with post-traumatic stress or traumatic brain injury; and those who have been recently hospitalized.
Professional Physical Therapy has 67 locations providing physical therapy in the New York area, plus corporate headquarters in Uniondale and an athletic performance center in Garden City.
The casino fundraiser was held at the Intrepid Air & Space Museum in Manhattan.
