What would the closing of the National Grid power plant do to Port Jefferson Harbor?

That’s the question discussed in a story by Dave Willinger of the Port Times Record in the paper’s most recent issue.

The story was sparked by a letter Port Jefferson Mayor Margot Garant sent recently to school chief Robert Frey suggesting they make a case from a business standpoint for why the plant should be repowered.
