Racing association promotes executive

Ellen McClain has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer at The New York Racing Association, which operates the  thoroughbred racetracks -- Aqueduct Racetrack, Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course. The Manhattan resident was promoted from senior vice president and chief financial officer and has been with the organization since July 2009.
