'Reminiscences of a Stock Operator': top book pick at Huntington's Book Revue

The fictionalized biography of Jesse Livermore, titled "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator", written by Edwin Lefèvre, comes highly recommended by the staff at Book Revue, an independent bookstore just off Main Street in Huntington Village.

Book Revue maintains a list of recommendations from its staff, and this book – first published in 1923 – has staying power, the bookstore staffer (identified by Book Revue as Richard – no last name given) says.

It’s the story of “one of the greatest speculators ever. Generations of investors have found that it has more to teach them about themselves and other investors than years of experience in the market,” Richard’s mini-review says.
