Roosevelt Field pop-up to sell discounted designer fragrances

This holiday season, Long Island-based online retailer Fragrance.com will be opening its first pop-up shop at the Roosevelt Field mall in Garden City.

The Fragrance.com shop will be open from Oct. 1 through Jan. 8. The 1,500-square-foot store will showcase a selection of more than 750 designer fragrances and will offer discounts of up to 70 percent off retail prices. Sales associates will be equipped with iPads to provide more information for customers.

Fragrance.com, formerly FragranceNet.com, is headquartered in Deer Park.

“Our goal is to continue to build the Fragrance.com brand and to educate the designer beauty consumer online and offline,” Patti Kapla, vice president of business development at Fragrance.com, said in a statement. “We felt the best strategy to reach and educate the offline consumer was during the holiday season — our busiest time of the year.”
