LI's MSC Industrial Direct names Rustom Jilla as new CFO

MSC Industrial Direct Co., a Melville-based distributor of metalworking industrial tools and supplies, has named Rustom Jilla executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective July 20.

He succeeds Jeff Kaczka, who is retiring from MSC.

Jilla, 54, had been chief financial officer for Dematic Group, of Atlanta, a warehouse logistics and inventory management company.

"Rustom is an accomplished CFO with a strong track record of producing exceptional results, while demonstrating high levels of leadership in developing people, teams and organizations," said MSC president and chief executive Erik Gershwind.

Jilla holds an MBA in finance and corporate policy and management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
