Seminar on fitness franchises

Lucille Roberts Fitness for Women, a company that operates a chain of women-only exercise centers, will hold a seminar Saturday in Massapequa for potential franchise owners.

The seminar will take place at the Lucille Roberts Fitness Center at 1000 Sunrise Highway in Massapequa from 9:30 a.m.-noon. (At left is a file photo of a class at the Massapequa location.)

"Representatives from Lucille Roberts will be on hand to discuss the advantages of owning a Lucille Roberts Fitness Center as well as covering topics such as start-up assistance, franchisee training, and financial and marketing tips. There is no fee to attend this seminar," the company says.
