Katherine J. Heinlein of Bayport, left, was appointed to the board at Eastern Suffolk BOCES. She has been a member of the board of education at the Bayport-Blue Point school district since 2006.
Edward Kalikow was named to the board of directors of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The Old Westbury resident is president and chief executive of The Kalikow Group, a real estate firm in Westbury.
Rosario A. Iaconis was appointed chairman, council of governors at the Italic Institute of America in Floral Park, an educational nonprofit organization that promotes the Italian culture and heritage. The Mineola resident is an adjunct professor at Briarcliffe College in Bethpage.
