Patricia Kurz, right, director of medical-surgical nursing at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, has been appointed to the Medical-Surgical Nurses Certification Boardas the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses representative. She lives in Copiague.
