So Delicious recall involving some dairy-free desserts over potential foreign objects inside pints

The dairy-free ice cream brand So Delicious has recalled one of its dessert pints due to potential foreign objects inside.

The brand's company, Danone USA, issued the recall of So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pints. The notice affects pints with best-by dates on and before April 3, 2028.

According to the announcement posted on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website, the product has been recalled "due to the potential presence of foreign materials, such as small stones and other hard objects, within the cashew inclusions." The affected pints contain the SKU number 136603.

No other codes, products or flavors are included in this recall.

Danone USA is in the process of removing the affected product from shelves with its retail partners, the company announced. Questions to the company's media representative about whether any Long Island stores have been affected were not immediately answered.

So Delicious carries other desserts, including frozen dipped bars and ice cream sandwiches. The treats range in flavor and are created with various plant-based milks.

The company is urging consumers not to eat the recalled product, and contact the So Delicious Dairy Free consumer care line for a refund or replacement coupon.
